Scholarships

Scholarships & Awards

  • $3 Million in merit-­based scholarships and financial aid for new and current undergraduate students

Entrance Scholarships:

  • Must Apply for admission direct from high school
  • Students with an admissions average of 85% are guaranteed an entrance scholarship worth at least $5,000 
  • Once accepted to StFX you will be provided with log-in information to our online Scholarship Application Site
  • Only students who have completed a scholarship profile and applied to StFX, with appropriate transcripts, by March 1st will be eligible for scholarships
  • Once accepted to StFX you will be provided with log-in information to our online Scholarship Application Site

Major Scholarships:

  • To be eligible students must apply to StFX and submit a first term/semester grade 12 transcript before the March 1st deadline
  • Only students who have created profiles and submitted applications through the Scholarship Application Site with a scholarship average of 96% or higher will be considered

In-Course Scholarships:

  • Awarded to students who have completed at least one academic year of 24 credits in the fall and winter terms combined towards a first degree
  • Awarded on the basis of academic performance at StFX University
  • Minimum average of 80% is required
